Mark J. Gifford, AIA
Associate Principal
NAC Architecture fosters a productive dialogue between creative people and our clients. This dialogue encourages a dynamic exchange of ideas in a collaborative setting, resulting in a design strategy that is unique to each project.
In the thirty-one years Mark has been with NAC Architecture, he has primarily managed and designed major K-12, higher education and hospitality projects. His attention to detail and communication skills with owner representatives, subconsultants, and in-house staff are key elements in the development of accurate and coordinated project documents. Mark’s success is due to his ability to communicate clearly with clients and building users through programming and design phase work sessions. His process of “active listening” is one that draws ideas from the staff while continuously testing their input. His understanding of the construction process, communication skills and thorough documentation are well received by contractors and clients.
